If you create an account, we process your email address, display name, optional profile image, authentication provider (such as email/password or Google), and—if you use email login—a salted password hash. We place a secure, HTTP-only session cookie (`token`) so you stay signed in. If you use Google sign-in, Google shares profile details according to your Google settings and their policies.

Games, options, images, vote totals, comments, guest names where used, and related content you submit are stored so we can operate features such as rankings, sharing, and moderation. We also log aggregated Service usage events (for example visits, plays, and shares), typically associated with a game identifier, for analytics and administration.

We use a locale preference cookie (`vsranks-locale`) so we can show the site in your chosen language. We may use limited browser storage (such as sessionStorage) for lightweight client behavior.

We load Google Analytics (Google tag `gtag`) and may load Ahrefs analytics scripts to understand traffic and improve the Service. Those providers may process IP addresses, device data, and usage signals under their own privacy notices. You can manage cookies in your browser and use tools offered by those vendors where available.

The Service runs on Cloudflare’s global network (including databases and logs). Processing and storage may occur in regions where Cloudflare operates infrastructure.

We retain information as needed to provide the Service, secure accounts, and comply with law. You may request access, correction, or deletion of personal data associated with your account by emailing support@vsranks.com. We may retain certain records where required by law or for legitimate interests such as security and dispute handling.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding access, portability, objection, or restriction of processing of your personal data, and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (for example in the EEA or UK). We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time; we will adjust the “Last updated” date when we do. Continued use of the Service after changes means you acknowledge the updated policy where permitted by law.
